Our clients needed stormwater mitigation, but wanted a modern and functional backyard, while replacing their front lawn with a pollinator’s dream garden.

DESIGN

Our design team was tasked with turning a stormwater enforced bio retention garden in the middle of the backyard into a functional and beautiful living space. With a raised deck, we connected the main home to the garage/studio. Design elements included beautiful raised beds for gardening, bench seating, a dining area, and grilling station. The front yard became a pollinator garden, with a seating area to enjoy all of the pops of color and visitors.
