Cliff Jones

Cliff has over 20 years of experience in landscape design, contracting, and business leadership. After working with land planning and engineering firms early in his career, he founded Landscape Solutions in 2009, growing it from a small startup into a full-scale design-build firm.

Leanne
Role
Customer Experience & Creative Marketing

20+ years in photography, 1 year nursery experience before coming to Landscape Solutions.

AAP in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

In house photographer, customer experience & account management, digital marketing strategy, graphic design.
Leanne brings a blend of creativity, strategy, and heart to the Landscape Solutions team. With a background in visual media, client relations, and digital marketing, she helps connect homeowners to the beauty and craftsmanship behind each outdoor living project. Whether she’s developing brand visuals, managing client communications, or refining the customer experience, Leanne’s goal is to ensure every client feels truly heard, supported, and confident throughout the design process.
Personal Background/Interests
Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors with her four kids and Labrador, mountain biking, fishing, and capturing life’s details through photography.
David
Role
Operations Manager
David joined Landscape Solutions from Mississipi and currently serves as Operations Manager. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and attending grandkids sporting events. David has increased his knowledge of the Landscape Industry over the last seven years.
Emily
Role
Program Manager + Landscape Designer

Emily is responsible for creating unique designs for clients, procuring excellent plant and construction materials, and helping keep the business running like a well-oiled machine.

She once owned and operated a flower farm outside of Nashville called Basil & Bergamot.
Daniel
Role
Landscape Designer & Sales
Professional Background/Years of Experience
Daniel has been a landscape designer for two years, with a focus on residential designs. Before joining Landscape Solutions, he was a landscape designer in Wisconsin working on high-end residential projects. He also spent several years professionally maintaining properties and completing landscape construction projects throughout Tennessee and North Carolina.
Education/Certifications (degrees, licenses, etc.)
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Plant Science with a concentration in Sustainable Landscape Design from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Contributions to Landscape Solutions
Daniel works as a landscape designer and salesman, showing clients the possibilities of their backyard and helping bring their dream backyard to life.
Notable Projects/Achievements
He was a Rosarian intern at The Biltmore Estate.
Personal Background/Interests
Daniel is originally from the New England area and later moved to Middle Tennessee, where he attended high school and college. This was a great way for him to learn and adopt the way of the Volunteer. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing with friends and family. He also enjoys traveling, as seeing places he has never been before exposes him to new art styles and design possibilities. Traveling to play golf is something he has also found himself doing.

He is excited to be back in the great state of Tennessee to show people that their landscapes do not have to be just a lawn, it can be anything they want.
Brad
Role
Landscape Designer
Professional Background/Years of Experience
Upon acquiring his degree he began his landscape design career in his hometown of Nashville, TN and has been designing outdoor living spaces for over twenty years. He approaches all projects with an emphasis on thoughtful planning, aesthetic quality, and long term sustainability. His work reflects a commitment to delivering high quality planting plans and outdoor living areas to each client’s vision and site while including native plants where possible.

Brad graduated in 2003 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor’s degree in Plant Sciences and Landscape Systems with a concentration in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design.
Contributions to Landscape Solutions
He has elevated Landscape Solutions’ design capabilities by continually implementing new technologies and 3D modeling into the company workflow. His leadership in digital design integration has improved visualization, efficiency, and communication throughout the design and construction process.
Notable Projects/Achievements
Brad is lucky to have worked on several projects for Cheekwood Estates and Gardens over the years, most recently helping with the Blevins Japanese Garden renovation and restoration.
Personal Background/Interests
Outside of his landscape design career Brad loves the thought of international travel, lol. He draws inspiration from urban design, US National Parks, Botanical Gardens, technical hand drawn art, and varying genres of music. He has an appreciation for elegant automobile and aviation design and also enjoys spending time with his two dogs Luna and Navin.
Karina

Office Assistant
Professional Background/Years of Experience
Karina has 7+ years of customer service experience and 5+ years of office work experience. Prior to Landscape Solutions she held roles that helped develop her communication skills, customer service skills, and her attention to detail. All of which has served her well in her office assistant position.

Karina is passionate about her role at Landscape Solutions. Her position encompasses a role she enjoys in her own personal life, organizing and nature. Her role is critical in making sure the office and crew are provided with support on a day to day basis.

Jose
Role
Foreman
Jose is a Chicago native fluent in Spanish. He brings over 15 years of professional foreman experience in all aspects of landscaping, including concrete, hardscaping, brick paver installation, and more!
He is skilled in project management, crew supervision, and delivering high-quality customer service through project completion. He is known for precision work, efficient site organization, and a strong commitment to safety and craftsmanship.
When he is not on the job, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, watching football, and grilling.
Michael
Role
Field Assistant
Michael comes to the team from Chicago, and Landscape Solutions is proud to have him assisting Jose and David with construction clients. In his spare time, Michael enjoys calisthenics and spending time with his children and fiancée. He has been in the landscape field for nearly three years and looks forward to continuing to build his experience and expertise within the company.
Ethan Swiggart
Role
Property Care Manager
Ethan Swiggart is a Property Care Manager with a diverse professional background spanning landscape management, horticulture, agricultural research, and plant science. His experience combines hands-on knowledge of plant health and landscape care with an extensive background in scientific research and agricultural education.
Prior to his work in the landscape industry, Ethan contributed to research initiatives involving plant pathology, crop production, medicinal plants, and sustainable agriculture. His research has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including work involving American ginseng diseases, beneficial plant compounds, and plant-microbe interactions. He has also contributed to notable research projects and academic initiatives through institutions including Middle Tennessee State University, Tennessee State University, and the University of Kentucky.
Ethan’s professional accomplishments extend beyond research. He has presented and spoken before diverse audiences, including at the Smithsonian, participated in radio interviews, and contributed to public education and outreach on agriculture and plant science.
Today, Ethan brings this combination of research experience, horticultural knowledge, and practical field expertise to his work as a Property Care Manager, helping clients understand, maintain, and enhance their landscapes through thoughtful, science-informed solutions.
